Gail Rubin, CT, pioneering death educator, funeral expert and Celebrant.

Delta Kappa Gamma, the International Society for Key Women Educators, is holding its Theta State convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico, April 28 through 30, 2017. On Saturday, April 29 at 3:45 p.m., Gail Rubin will present “Keys to Downsize and Organize Your Life.”

Here is the description of the 45-minute talk:

You don’t have to be old or dying to downsize. When you’ve lived in the same place for a decade or three, stuff accumulates. We get attached to all sorts of objects which no longer serve us and become clutter. Learn how to let go, pare down, and prepare your vital end-of-life information. You’ll feel lighter, energized and liberated!

Gail Rubin, CT, is the author of KICKING THE BUCKET LIST: 100 Downsizing and Organizing Things to Do Before You Die. She’s a pioneering death educator who uses humor to help reduce resistance to making end-of-life plans – helpful for those who have a 100% mortality rate. She’s also author of A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don’t Plan to Die and Hail and Farewell: Cremation Ceremonies, Templates and Tips.
