Remembering September 11

It’s hard to believe it’s been 13 years since that awful day when our world changed dramatically. Here are two videos from past September 11 commemorations in Albuquerque. The first one was during 2011, the first of the 30 Funerals in 30 Days project that year.

A year later, in 2012, I recorded a memorial service at a new firehouse that was still under construction. That year, this event became Day 26 of the 30 Funerals in  30 Days Challenge. Speakers included New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry, and others remembering lives lost on September 11, 2001.
