We had an awesome turn-out at the Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home in Longmont, Colorado last night! The pews in the chapel were filled as I presented “Laughing in the Face of Death: Funny Films for Funeral Planning.” There was lots of laughter and good learning about funeral planning issues.
There was also a camera crew from Longmont’s Channel 8, recording the event for a documentary. Today, it’s on to Nederland for Frozen Dead Guy Days!
You may not be able to read Heath’s T-shirt below. The funeral director’s shirt reads “I want your body.”
I also brought a wicker basket casket with me in the car when I drove up to Colorado from Albuquerque, headquarters for Passages International. Passages is a leader in green burial and cremation products.
