Host Gail Rubin, CT, brings a light touch to a serious subject. Like her award-winning book of the same name, the TV interviews cover a lot of information most folks don’t know about until faced with a death in the family. By planning ahead and having a conversation families can:

A Good Goodbye TV won an award in the National Federation of Press Women’s (NFPW) 2014 Communications Contest, taking second place in the Television Talk Show category. The program won first place in the New Mexico Press Women Communications Contest before going on to national competition.

Brother Arturo Olivas faced Stage 4 lung cancer and with the help of an experimental chemotherapy treatment outlived the doctors’ original prognosis. He discussed his own funeral planning and his perspectives on life and death. He is an artist and a Franciscan brother.
