Gail in Jaguar Hearse

Gail Rubin in the driver’s sea of this Jaguar hearse recreation from the film Harold and Maude

What a thrill it was to see, touch and even sit in the driver’s seat of the Jaguar hearse recreated from the cult classic film, Harold and Maude! The man who undertook this challenge, Ken Roberts, was in Albuquerque on August 20 with his wife Glenda for the local Jaguar Concours d’Elegance, a judging competition.

My picture in the hearse is now the new Facebook page cover for A Good Goodbye. Check out the story below about how it was built.

Kicking the Bucket List CoverKICKING THE BUCKET LIST is now available in paperback form – eBook versions will become available soon. Amazon just named it a #1 New Release in Legal Self-Help! It already has 13 5-star reviews, and people are buying multiple copies at all my speaking events (they make great gifts). Check out upcoming talks below.

The latest A Good Goodbye interview on FuneralRadio.com is with Stephen Jenkinson, author of Die Wise: A Manifesto for Sanity and Soul. Listen to the interview here.

Looking forward to presenting next week’s “Laughing in the Face of Death” talk at Congregation Beth Ami in Rockville, Maryland (more info)! And mark your calendars for the next Albuquerque Death Cafe on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Live long and prosper,
