Two fun Death Cartoons featuring mimes and ventriloquists at funerals! Yesterday’s Bizarro cartoon features a couple looking at a mime in full costume lying on his back with his hands in the air. As mimes often do, he’s outlining the “box” that he’s ostensibly inside. The man says to the woman, “There are no words.”
A mime is a terrible thing to waste. I wonder if embalmers could put a dead mime in this position?
Meanwhile, over in today’s Close to Home, you see a guy propped up in a casket with another guy behind him saying, “Wow! What a nice turnout! I’ve had an exciting few days up in heaven…” The caption reads, “Wanting to deliver his own eulogy, Dwayne hired a ventriloquist to perform at his memorial service.
You know, you can do that by recording yourself saying your piece on video and letting folks know where they can find it for your “good goodbye.”
Bonus cartoon! In today’s strip, The Argyle Sweater, Igor and his master are busy in the cemetery digging up a body. Igor says, “It’s hot out here. How ’bout you and I go grab a cold one, Master?” They go find a cold one to grab in the morgue.
