In the latest installment of Ghoulio and Lincoln, the funeral director and his clown-faced assistant are driving in the funeral home’s hearse, after yet another funeral service. Suddenly, Ghoulio’s phone rings!
“Turn the hearse around, we have to go back to the hospital. Stat,” he says.
They hurry into the hospital, and “a few hours later” Ghoulio is sitting on his wife’s hospital bed, cradling an infant. He comments, “It’s nice to take something living from here for once!”
It’s a boy! His name is Tober, as he was born in the month of October. Clowngratulations to Ghoulio and his lovely Lady!
Yes, funeral directors do make a lot of visits to hospitals and nursing homes, to take the deceased into their care. Those visits to the hospital for a joyous event that adds to a family are much fewer and far between.
